The 20th MMERC Convocation 2024 was a deeply emotional and memorable event, where every MMERCIEN was moved to tears. It was so emotional that even after the Alwida’i Tarana ended, the announcer Maul. Muaz Sb was unable to compose himself and take charge of the mic as the profound emotional moments unfolded. Maulana Burhanuddin Qasmi, the Director of MMERC had to step in and continue the program for some time. It was a touching moment that reflected the deep emotional connection everyone felt during the event.
The program was replete with emotional depth and as an alumnus of MMERC, I was touched by the memories we shared and the spiritual presence of Hazrat Maul. Talha Sb Naqshbandi, who embodies humility, simplicity, and a sea of knowledge, Ilm, and Hikmah, made the program more spectacular and memorable. Meeting him was a truly lovely experience.
Maulana Talha sb’s speech at the 20th MMERC Convocation 2024 was a beacon of light, drawing from the teachings of the Qur’an and Hadith. His words offered valuable insights into the significance of language, particularly in the context of the Ayat of the Qur’an and Hadith. His guidance for the students was particularly inspiring, reminding them of their responsibilities and encouraging them to serve Islam diligently keeping the vision and mission of MMERC in their sight. His words resonated deeply with the audience, reflecting the essence of the Qur’an and Hadith and leaving a lasting impact on everyone present.
Additionally, the 2nd edition of the book “Seeratun Nabi: Biography of the greatest man ever, Prophet Muhammad (saws)” by MB Qasmi was unveiled too.
I also had the pleasure of reconnecting with other MMERCIENs, such as Maul. Firoz, Maul. Sikandar Azam, Maul. Ghufran Sajid, Maul. Faisal, and the affectionate teachers of MMERC, who have always been kind and friendly to me at the same time missing greatly Maul. Muddasir Sb.
Witnessing the graduates receive their medals and prepare to serve the Ummah with the Tarbiyah and training they’ve acquired was inspiring. It reminded me of my own journey when I received my DELL Degree, seeing my reflections in their eager faces.
The performance by the Maktab students was outstanding, especially the Naat by Zainab bint- Ateeq led group and the recitation of Asmae Husna by Rida Aslam Javed Sir, really amazing and wow. It was heartening to see all DELL students ready to confidently take their places and serve the nation, a testament to the quality of education and training provided by our dedicated and extraordinary Mukhlis and talented teachers at MMERC.
After witnessing such wonderful programs and recalling the memorable moments, my heart overflows with gratitude for our esteemed Director, Maulana Burhanuddin Qasmi Sir and my beloved teachers, whose guidance and encouragement have been invaluable to me.
May Allah continue to bless and nurture the growth of this institution, granting it widespread acceptance and allowing it to shine brightly and succeed abundantly. May it serve as a beacon of knowledge and inspiration for generations to come! Aameen
