The lecture on the topic “Introduction to Our Surrounding Universe” was presented at the Al Mahadul Ali Al Islami Hyderabad India today on Sunday, 13 August 2023 following Magrib prayer. Mr. Abdul Latif Aater (Founder of Ilm Foundation, Hyderabad) was the main source for this workshop. He delivered very informative lecture using the modern gadget i.e. PowerPoint Project in order to display the celestial bodies.
It is worth mentioning that the curriculum and educational system of the Al Mahad includes the basic sciences as an integral part including other modern subjects.
The lecture was very informative and beneficial, and the students enthusiastically participated and benefited from it.
While discussing the size of the sun and the earth, it was also mentioned that if we consider placing the earth in a straight line within the sun’s circle, 109 earths can fit, and if we want to fill the entire circle of the sun, we would need many million earths.
It was discussed that the way to learn science is by making mistakes first and then discovering the realities through these mistakes.
On the success of this workshop Maulana Omar Abedeen the Deputy Director, Al Mahad ul Ali Al Islami Hyderabad India, expressed his satisfaction on the workshop and hoped that this workshop would have been enough beneficial for those who attended the workshop.
