An 8-day Moral Inculcating Summer Camp, organized at Al-Hidya Campus, Badlapur, in collaboration with Markazul Ma’arif Education and Research Centre (MMERC), Mumbai, concluded gracefully on 3rd May 2026. The camp, held from 26th April to 3rd May 2026, brought together 38 school-going boys aged 8 to 14 from Mumbai and its suburbs, offering them a unique blend of moral education, spiritual nurturing, and physical development.

Throughout the camp, students were immersed in a well-rounded program designed to cultivate Islamic values, refined character, and responsible behavior. Activities included lessons on Islamic teachings, moral development, and interpersonal ethics, along with speech, Qirat and Adhan competitions that nurtured confidence and articulation.

Equal emphasis was placed on physical and mental well-being. The students actively participated in a variety of outdoor activities such as horse riding, cricket and football tournaments, mountain trekking, and river swimming, fostering teamwork, resilience, and a spirit of adventure.
A particularly meaningful initiative of the camp was tree plantation. Each student planted a tree, reinforcing the message that preserving and promoting greenery is not only a social responsibility but also a practice encouraged by the Prophetic Sunnah. Alhamdulillah, the children embraced this noble act with enthusiasm, reflecting a growing sense of environmental and spiritual awareness.

The students also studied the biography of the Prophet Muhammad (SAWS), expressing a sincere commitment to embody his noble character and adopt his daily practices in their own lives. The camp maintained a mobile-free environment, demonstrating effectively that even in today’s screen-dominated era, children can remain engaged, disciplined, and focused when guided with purpose.

The camp concluded with a heartfelt farewell program attended by parents and distinguished guests. Prizes, medals, and participation certificates were distributed to recognize the students’ dedication and achievements. The gathering provided a platform for parents and guests to share their valuable feedback, widely appreciating the initiative as a constructive step towards safeguarding children from the distractions of the digital age and guiding them towards a righteous path.
Maulana Mohammad Burhanuddin Qasmi, Director of MMERC, Mumbai, and patron of the camp, shared his rich experiences in organizing such programs. He emphasized the importance of nurturing children with strong moral and ethical values so that they grow into responsible citizens, dutiful children, and exemplary individuals within society.

Dr. Kamal Anzer Sayyed, Director of Al-Hidya Campus, expressed his gratitude to the audience, participants, and staff, while also outlining the vision and mission behind the establishment of the institution.
Parents, too, expressed their satisfaction and appreciation, sharing encouraging feedback and noting visible positive changes in their children—many of which were conveyed through heartfelt messages on WhatsApp.
