The Gardener’s Bloom
(A Daughter’s Journey)

                                                                                          By Dr. Bushra Firdaus

A gardener struggles with patient grace,
He finds the seed, a perfect place.
He gives it light, he gives it rain,
He shields it well from storm and strain.

When the breeze of ceaseless time flows,
The little flower learns and grows.
She laughs with friends beneath the sun,
A family warm, where all are one.

But when her petals start to gleam,
She’s plucked to live another dream.
Another hand, a different land—
The gardener nods; he understands.

The bees still linger, hum and sway,
Where once she used to shimmer and play.
That softened earth where he had toiled,
Holds traces of quiet memories in the soil.

Uprooted once, she feared the air,
But found a soul to truly care.
Together in their gentle nest,
She bloomed anew, she found her rest.

Now she tends her home, her kin,
New worlds arise, new lives begin.
Each drop of sweat, each silent trial
Returns to him in petals’ smile
