Ajmal Foundation, a leading voluntary organization from Northeast India, celebrated its 20th Foundation Day with a series of impressive programmes at the Ajmal Modern Residential School ground in Hojai on 31 July, 2024 evening. Established on 18 July, 2005 by Ajmal family, the Ajmal Foundation besides other welfare activities went miles, nationally, in education excellence in this 20 years of its services.
Ajmals’ educational endeavor is as affective as out of total 914 who scored 600 or plus marks in the recently concluded NEET UG – 2024 from the state of Assam, 334 were from Ajmal Super 40 only. This fact is also shared by veteran journalist from Guwahati Mrinal Talukdar in his social media post.
Shunning all religious or caste differences Ajmal Foundation has been active in providing with humanitarian supports during natural disasters, conducting emergency relief and rescue work, and offering medical assistance to the deserving people of northeast India. The Ajmals are currently managing 34 educational institutions across Assam. These include prominent establishments such as Ajmal Super 40 for NEET and JEE Coaching, Ajmal IAS Academy, Nazir Ajmal Memorial College of Education (B.Ed.), Ajmal Law College, and Maryam Ajmal Women’s College of Science and Technology.
The 20th Foundation Day celebration has attracted the presence of important guests such as Maulana Badruddin Ajmal, CEO Ajmal CSR and Former MP Dhubri; Mr. Sirajuddin Ajmal, Managing Trustee of Ajmal Foundation and MLA, Binnakandi of Assam; Mr. Ramkrishna Ghosh, MLA Hojai, senior journalist Mr. Mrinal Talukdar of Pratidin Time and so many others.
Dr. Khusrul Islam, Director Ajmal Foundation, extended gratitude to all guests. He acknowledged the unwavering supports provided by the Ajmal family, including Mr. Amiruddin Ajmal, Mr. Fakhruddin Ajmal, Maulana Badruddin Ajmal, Mr. Sirajuddin Ajmal, and the family of the late Mr. Nazir Ajmal.
In the gala program which was live on air through social media platforms, in addition to thousands of students, faculty members and local dignitaries present from Hojai and different educational institutions run by the Ajmals, including schools, colleges, IAS Academy, and Ajmal Super 40, there were also present thousands other online audiences from across India.
A souvenir edition of Ajmal Today, the periodical newsletter of Ajmal Foundation was also released on the occasion.
