Silent and Unknown
Silent and Unknown
By: Maryam Nayla Bashir

There must be so much
Of calmness
In being
Not a being known.
Like hidden, that was never discovered.
Like lost.
That was never found.
Like no existence.
As if never existed.
Like silent, never heard.
With all the thoughts within,
Deep dug,
As if it would die with the body too.
There must be
Calmness in being such.
And there certainly must be
Calmness

In being known
Only to the Almighty.
Hidden under His shade
From the harshness of this world.
Lost in His remembrance.
Existed for Him, died for Him.
Silent voice heard by Him.
Its thoughts mended and furnaced
|Filled of Him.
That finally when the unknown
Left the strange world.
It was brought,
With fragrance and light.
To dwell where await the souls
To bow down when their Lord arrives.
And the unknown, well known in this world,
Sees his Lord and smiles.
