Ankleshwar MIERC Hosts First Elocution Competition on Sunday, 18th August 2024

The inaugural Elocution Competition at Ankleshwar MIERC was successfully conducted on Sunday, 18th August 2024, at 9:30 am. The event was presided over by Master Haji Ilyas, In-charge Principal of Zenith High School, Ankleshwar, Bharuch.
The competition took place under the esteemed patronage of Master Ilyas, marking a proud moment for the institution. Ten students were selected for the final round, excluding the Qur’an reciters and Naat chanters.
Alhamdulillah, the president and two judges graced the program with their presence and were warmly welcomed by the Principal of Trust Markaz-e-Islami Ankleshwar and senior members of the institution’s staff. The program commenced with a beautiful recitation of the Holy Qur’an, followed by the melodious chanting of couplets in praise of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
The convener of the competition then invited the participants to deliver their speeches in accordance with the event’s rules. Each participant showcased their talents with great enthusiasm, displaying remarkable gestures, postures, body language, and facial expressions. The audience responded with thunderous applause, acknowledging the participants’ extraordinary efforts.
Upon the conclusion of the speeches, the president and the judges were invited to share their impressions. Maulana Sabeelurrahman Qasmi, a proud alumnus of MMERC, provided brief feedback, praising the students’ exceptional performances and encouraging them to participate with even greater zeal in the future. Maulana Iftikhar Qasmi, the second judge, commended the participants for maintaining decorum and etiquette throughout the event. The president of the competition offered valuable suggestions to the students, emphasizing the importance of gaining knowledge and practical experience in literature, science, art, and social service.
The event concluded with the president distributing prizes to the winners. The first prize was awarded to Maulana Athar Qasmi, who received a charming trophy along with a cash award for his outstanding performance. The runner-up, Maulana Zahidul Islam, was awarded a smaller trophy and a cash prize for his remarkable achievements, while the third prize went to Maulana Sufyan Qasmi, who received a trophy and a cash award for his consistent efforts. The function ended with a heartfelt supplication, marking the successful conclusion of a memorable event.
