The discussions spanned a wide range of topics, with participants reflecting on the implications of the Parliamentary election results. They praised the recent speech by Rahul Gandhi in the Parliament, noting the shifting political landscape and the expressions on the faces of key figures like Narendra Modi and Amit Shah. The analysis highlighted that while the results from Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh were comparatively satisfactory, the INDIA Alliance suffered minor losses due to small margin differences.

Speakers emphasized the necessity of a robust manifesto for the upcoming state elections, stressing the importance of grassroots-level work. Concerns were raised about the inactivity of elected MPs in addressing crucial issues. The forum resolved that if current representatives fail to advocate for their concerns, voters would shift their support to candidates who commit to fulfilling their demands.

Key issues highlighted included the surge in lynching cases across the country, which have not been adequately discussed in Parliament. The meeting underscored their core demands of equality, justice, and peace, calling for these principles to be enshrined in the election manifesto and pursued rigorously.

As Maharashtra gears up for the Assembly elections, the participant dignitaries and voters are resolute in their mission to ensure their voices are heard and their calls for justice, peace, and equality are prioritized, potentially altering the state’s political dynamics.
