Moral Inculcating Summer Camp Organized in Badlapur in Collaboration with MMERC, Mumbai

Summer vacations, while offering children a time for relaxation and enjoyment, also present a valuable opportunity for their character building and moral development. In today’s era, the excessive use of smartphones and screens has negatively impacted children’s habits, health, and temperament, creating various psychological and (upbringing-related) challenges for parents.

In response to these concerns, an eight-day “Moral and Inculcating Summer Camp” is being organized at Al-Hidayah School, Badlapur, in collaboration with Markazul Ma’arif Education and Research Centre (MMERC), Mumbai. The camp will run from 26 April to 3 May 2026, with a special focus on the holistic development of students.

According to Mufti Jaseemuddin Qasmi, the camp coordinator, the primary aim of this camp is to distance children from unnecessary screen exposure for a few days and immerse them in an Islamic and friendly environment. Here, they will not only enjoy recreational activities but also learn essential moral values needed for their practical lives. A well-structured 24-hour schedule has been designed, supervised by experienced scholars and teachers.

The Chief Patron of the camp, Maulana Mohammad Burhanuddin Qasmi, stated that the key features of the camp include: practical training in Islamic teachings and the Sunnah of the Prophet (SAWS), daily application of Sunnah practices, sports and competitions for mental and physical development, group activities, speech competition, interactive training sessions, excursions in a natural environment, and exercises to build teamwork and cooperation.

The camp organizer, Mufti Nisar Ahmad Qasmi, expressed that this initiative will help instill balance, discipline, and a positive mindset in children, while also providing parents with a reliable and reassuring alternative for their children’s development.

Parents from Mumbai and nearby areas are urged to take advantage of this valuable opportunity by enrolling their children at the earliest, as seats are limited and registrations are filling up quickly.
