A very dynamic personality Dr. KM Baharul Islam, Professor and Chairman at the Centre for Public Policy and Government in the Indian Institute of Management (#IIM), Kashipur and Visiting Professor in the London School of Economics and Political Science (#LSE) has paid a short visit to Markazul Ma’arif Education and Research Centre (#MMERC), #Mumbai, yesterday – on 18th of December 2023.
During the visit he interacted with the second year Diploma in English Language and Literature (#DELL) students of MMERC and shared his vast knowledge and deep ideas. In his one hour long thought-provoking interaction, he shared his experiences in different academic fields, and he specially urged the students to develop a habit of coining questions on everything around and become crazy to find the answers to them. He gave multiple examples of great personalities who changed the course of time just because of the habit of asking questions and deep thinking to find a solution.
It was a beneficial session for MMERC, Mumbai where the students got lessons and enough inspiration from a living example.
At the end of the session the Director of MMERC, Maulana Mohammad Burhanuddin Qasmi thanked Dr, KM Baharul Islam for giving time and sharing his splendid views with MMERC students who are already madrasa gratitude (ulama) and are upcoming leaders of this ummah.
