The demise of the eminent scholar and Sheikhul Hadith, Allama Qamaruddin Gorakhpuri (RA), is undoubtedly a monumental loss for the Muslim Ummah. For many years, he disseminated the knowledge of Prophethood from the halls of Darul Uloom Deoband. He was among the last links of his generation, who dedicated their lives to guiding the Ummah and making unparalleled contributions to the field of Islamic scholarship. His thousands of students, serving Islam across the globe today, stand as a testament to his legacy and an ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah) for him.
Allama Qamaruddin Gorakhpuri was truly an embodiment of the saying, “The death of a scholar is like the death of the entire world.” A scholar safeguards the beliefs of the community and nurtures individuals who spread the message of humanity, love, and brotherhood across the world.
