On the auspicious occasion of the 78th Independence Day, the students and teachers of Markazul Ma’arif Education and Research Centre (MMERC), Mumbai, along with Maktab and school students and a gathering of local people from Patliputra Nagar, came together to honor the sacrifices of the freedom fighters who played a pivotal role in securing the nation’s freedom.

The ceremony was marked by the hoisting of the national flag, symbolizing the pride and respect we hold for our country and its history. The National Anthem was recited by Maulana Maaz Qasmi, and the famous song of India, “سارے جہاں سے اچھا ہندوستاں ہمارا,” was chanted by Omar Faruq Mandal with his team, comprising three persons: Maulana Qamrul Hussain Qasmi and Maulana Sabir Ahmad Qasmi. The program featured two speeches: Maulana Hasnain Qasmi in Urdu and Maulana Mohammad Arshad Qasmi in English.  A special and extended speech on Independence Day was delivered by Maulana Atiqur Rahman Saheb Qasmi, the Branch In-charge of MMERC, Mumbai and head of this program. A young Congress leader, Farhan Azmi, honored the program with his presence.
