Nizamabad, April
12 (Momin Times):
Performing the most important worship – Namaz (among the five pillars of Islam), gives a person mental and physical peace. Not only the namaz, rather all the worships of Islam that Muslim offer, save him or her from many deceases and problems. The irony of the present day Muslims is that by leaving the Salah (obligatory prayer) and recitation of the Glorious Qur’an aside, Muslims are involved in the acts of disbelief and in such state they are searching peace! That is utterly impossible!

The famous Psychologist and Hypnotist Dr. B V Pattabhiram of Hyderabad City in an interview given to a Telugu Channel revealed that those who offer namaz are safer from mental illness. During the interview, he revealed the causes of sugar and physical diseases of a person and said that a person (man or woman) faces many problems every day due to which his/her mental and physical parts of body are affected. The majority of the afflicted people suffer from mental diseases.

Dr. B V Pattabhiram said that Muslims who believe in the religion of Islam and pray five times a day are safer from the mental diseases. He further said that the mental and physical health conditions of the worshipers increases and they get spiritual peace too. Giving the example of Arab countries, he said that there is no bedlam in Arab countries, because the majority of the people there offer namaz. However most countries of the world have madhouses but there is not a single madhouse in Arab countries, which makes it clear that praying namaz saves the person from mental diseases and increases his/her physical and mental health.

Dr. B V Pattabhiram also said that the ways of prayer and specifically sitting position in Qaida is very important.
According to Dr. B V Pattabhiram, the person sitting in Qaida gets mental peace as well as healing from mental decease due to blood circulation.
Apart from this, due to fluctuations in blood circulation in other Rukn of Salah, such as Qiyam, Ruku and Sajda etc., there is a change in the veins of the mind and body which cures many diseases. He added that mental diseases are also being well treated by the Ayurvedic system if medicine.

A non-Muslim doctor has shed lights on the importance of namaz and the blessing of prayer. So, the Muslims who frequently miss the Salah should think over their big loss as to what extent they are deprived from the blessings of the prayer. Namaz is the greatest Yoga. Just start offering five times prayer a day and avail both physical and religious benefits before it is too late.
