Jamiul-Uloom, Balapur, Akola Organized First Elocution Competition

The First Elocution Competition in English language of the year 2024-25 was held with great pomp and show in the magnificent mosque of Madrasah Jamiul Uloom Balapur, Akola,Maharashtra, that runs under the direction of Mufti Aslam Sahab Qasmi, in which a total of eight students selected for the final round, tried their level best to highlight their dormant abilities by delivering insightful and interesting speeches on diverse key topics.

Speech and oratory are undoubtedly one of the best means of expressing oneself:

While taking responsibility of convener in the program, Maulana Muhammad Faisal Qasmi introduced the madrasah to the guests.

Program started with the melodious recitation of Qari Sanaullah, the teacher of this Madrasa, and with the couplet of the Na’t in the Glory of the Prophet Muhammadﷺ by Maulana Zahid.

The program had three important judges, the lecturers of the English department, Maulana Muhammad Imran Qasmi, Maulana Muhammad Faisal Qasmi and Maulana Muhammad Ismail Mazahari graced the program and beautifully fulfilled their responsibilities.

Maulana Nadeem Qasmi, who secured first position in the program, delivered a good speech on the topic of “Quran and Modern Science” and Maulana Wasim Qasmi, who acquired the second position, delivered an insightful speech on the topic of “Blessings of Islam for the World” while Maulana Sabir, who got the third position, delivered an impactful speech on the topic of “Religious Freedom in Islam” and added to the charm of the program.

Maulana Ismail Mazahari, who was the judge of the program, congratulated the position holders students and encouraged the other participating students with encouraging words.

The honorable invited guests praised the performance of the students and also appreciated the management of the Madrasa and awarded the all students with their valuable advices and good suggestions.

At the end of the program, the vice-principal of the Madrasa, Mufti Muhammad Ahmad Qasmi thanked the guests from the bottom of the heart and announced the results, as well as awarded trophies and valuable prizes to all the students who participated in the final round.

The program was organized beautifully by the efforts of Hafiz Musharraf, Qari Usman, Maulana Rizwan along with all the members of the institution. The program concluded with an emotional supplication by Mufti Muhammad Azam Qasmi.
